Streets of Rage 2 ending - rendition (demo vers.)

Me and my childhood friend worked on the ending from the hit video game Streets of Rage 2. The original composer who did the track is Yuzo Koshiro.

Retroview: Sonic the Hedgehog 1

When I first saw this game it was at my childhood’s friend house, I do not lie. I was mesmerised by the flashing bright colours and moving object moving through the zone. I stayed at his house for hours. But then I got my own mega drive and played the game and here is what I thought of the game.

Reaction:
The level design were solid with strong vibrant colours and obstacles in the way, making the level as hard. With elements of puzzles in the game, it made it some what interesting. How ever as most games during those days, what they could do were very restrictive in essence that with the tech being not as advanced and with only a handful of space available on the cartridge. They were pushing the tech to the limit. And in respect the game itself, however this does not affect the performance of the game. Well it depends on which part of the world you were from. If you were from the USA, Japan or Europe & Australia, then you got the NTSC version, if you were from England then you got the PAL version. NTSC actually ran a lot faster than the PAL version. The music and game play were almost of the game actually meant to emphisise in NTSC version. On the PAL version, the whole thing was watered down by 25%. The game and music were slow. But then this was later found out to be a conversion to fit all current UK tv’s standard at the time.

For the actual game play, I enjoyed it. True I did get stuck as to what you supposed to do when you first meet Dr. Robotnik and his over sized wrecking ball xDD. Marble labyrinth was always my worst level, I wasn’t too fond of it and Spring yard zone end boss. I thought spring yard boss was much harder than the actual end boss..which makes no sense at all.
